Hello! Welcome! My name is Angelica (Yes, just like the Rugrats! No, I am NOT mean like her.). I want to start by saying “Thank you!“ for coming to my blog; even if you clicked on it by accident.
I am starting this blog to put my story out into the world. I will be posting positive thoughts, poems, short stories, some of my inner thoughts and I might also post my thoughts on books, movies and shows. I am going to try to post daily, but I can’t guarantee.
There are a few things you should know about me.
The first thing you need to know is that I’ve been dealing with depression and anxiety for a few years already. This is something that has affected me throughout the years. The good news is that I recently started to look for help. I’ll try to keep this blog positive minded.
Second thing is that I tend to get side-tracked at times. So, some of my writing can get shifted to different topics. Sorry! I’m working on that.
Third, I am a huge dork that will make people laugh sometimes. It’s not that I try to be funny or anything, it’s just that some of the things that I do, people find funny. Which I am fine with it; I love making people laugh!
Okay, about my writing! Writing has always been an escape for me. I’ve always kept a journal. I started using writing as a coping mechanism. So, yeah, I love writing! This is something that I’ve always loved to do, but never felt confident enough to share my stories. I hope to one day inspire others in a positive way with my words the same way I was inspired.
These are some of the people that have inspired me to get my story out there:
- Jamie Tworkowski ‘s blog TWLOHA (To Write Love On Her Arms) and his book, “If You Feel Too Much”
- Jared Padalecki and his “Always Keep Fighting” campaign
- Felicia Day and her memoir book, “You’re Never Weird On The Internet (Almost)”
- Jenny Lawson and her book, “Furiously Happy”
- Donald Miller and his book, “Scary Close”
- Drake and his Amazing music
Oh yeah, another thing you should know about me is that I’m kind of obsessed over a little show called “Supernatural.” Have you heard of it? It comes out on CW on Wednesday at 9/8 c. I definitely think you should go and check it out! It’s a great show!
This show has actually helped me out a lot with dealing with depression. The Supernatural Fandom is Amazing! I haven’t met any of the Supernatural cast members, but I have met a few of the fans.
Anyways, back to this blog!
I hope you enjoy reading my posts. Please leave a comment after…or not. It’s okay. I just want to post stuff on here. Until next time! Enjoy!
